RADIOACTIVE DRUG RESEARCH COMMITTEE

(Subcommittee of Joint Radiation Safety/Radioisotope Committee)

Approved by Medical Board as a Standing Committee on May 27, 1980.

STATEMENT OF CHARGE TO COMMITTEE:

1. As required by the (FDA) Food & Drug Administration for the purpose of approving procedures involving radioactive materials that are covered by neither a (NDA) New Drug Approval nor an (IND) Investigation of New Drug. In order to simplify administrative procedures, established as subcommittee of Joint Radioisotope Committee.

2. Voting members of this committee shall include: The Director of Pharmacy, physicians from the various clinical services and others as deemed appropriate by the Chairperson.

3. Meets quarterly.

4. Reports annually to Medical Board.
