SOCIAL WORK SERVICES COMMITTEE

Approved by Executive Committee of Medical Board as a Standing Committee on October 4, 1959.

STATEMENT OF CHARGE TO COMMITTEE:

1. To serve as liaison between the Professional Staff and the Social Work Service Department.

2. To assist in maintaining efficient Social Work Service coverage with available personnel.

3. Voting members of this committee shall include: The Director of Social Work Services, representatives from Medical Affairs Administration, Nursing, physicians from various clinical services and others as deemed appropriate by the chairperson.

4. Meets bimonthly.

5. Reports annually to Medical Board.
