STAFF COMMITTEE

Approved by Medical Board on December 16, 1947. Approved by Executive Committee of Medical Board as a Standing Committee on October 4, 1949.

STATEMENT OF CHARGE TO COMMITTEE:

1. To discuss major concerns of Professional Staff, problems as well as major medical issues in general.

2. Recommendations concerning the above brought to attention of Medical Board for action through monthly and annual reports and through the Chairman of the Committee who attends Medical Board and Executive Committee of the Medical Board meetings. He/she is a member of Medical Board.

3. Through representation on the Faculty Council of Physicians & Surgeons and the Society of Practitioners of the Presbyterian Hospital, current information on activities of these groups as well as Executive Committee and Medical Board, can be disseminated to Professional Staff.

4. Voting members of this committee shall include: Representatives from Medical Affairs Administration, Nursing, physicians from each clinical service and others as deemed appropriate by the chairperson.

5. Meets monthly.

6. Reports annually to Medical Board.
