It is a part of the Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center (CPMC), which is located from West 165th to 168th Streets, between Broadway and Riverside Drive. Babies & Children's and CPMC are easily accessible by car, bus, and subway. The entrance of the lot is located on the corner of Broadway and West 165th Street (enter on 165th Street). The lot is open from Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm. At other times, please use the Medical Center's parking facility (South Property), the entrance of which is located on Fort Washington Avenue just south of West 165th Street. For other family members and friends over the age of fourteen, regular visiting hours are from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Visits by siblings under the age of fourteen can be arranged with the nurse manager on your child's floor. All visitors must receive a pass from the Reception Desk in the lobby of Babies & Children's Hospital. No more than two visitors are allowed in the patient's room at any time. Overnight stays can be accommodated on a sleeper chair in the child's room. Overnight stays cannot be permitted in the intensive care or step-down units; however, sleeper chairs are available for use in the waiting rooms. Limited guest accommodations and several local hotels are also available. Special Accommodations for Infants Babies & Children's Hospital has private breast-feeding rooms. Nursing mothers are provided with electric pumps and are encouraged to store their milk for night feedings. This Hospital-wide policy was implemented as part of our commitment to promoting good health and a safe environment. If you want to smoke, you need to go outside the Hospital building.
