    Echo Lab A/V Manual

    Available Features:

    Schematic Diagram of Echo. Lab.

    System Start-up:

    • Verify that the power strip is turned on in the front of rack.
    • Verify that the NEC LT-151 projector is turned on. If not, press "Power on remote."
    • Use the NEC projector remote for input selections.
    • Adjust channel volume knobs on Bi-amp CMA30 to change audio levels.

     

     

    To View Exam. Prep. Rooms on Monitors:

    • Turn on monitors 1-4 and select input A on each.
    • Enter room number with +/- buttons on Autopatch panels "Monitor 1-4" located on wall under monitor shelf. Use the Exam. Prep. Room listing provided to determine room number to enter.

    Notes:

    Confirm that monitor #1 is and input A is selected.

    (by default monitors are all on and input A is already selected)

    Using schematic diagram identify which channel corresponds to the echo. machine you want to view.
    Enter the room number using +/- buttons on Autopatch panels matching monitor.

     

     

    To View Exam. Prep. Rooms on Projector:

    • Turn on monitor 4 and select input A.
    • Turn on the NEC LT-151 projector with remote.
    • Select "S-video" input on NEC LT-151 projector with remote.
    • Enter room number using +/- buttons on Autopatch panel "Monitor 4" located on wall under monitor shelf. Use the "Exam. Prep." room listing to determine room number to enter.

    Notes:

    Press switch on front wall to lower projection screen.
    Press "ON" button for about 5 seconds on the remote. Then press the "S-video" button.

    (note: Monitor 4 must be the default monitor selected to use the projector.)

     

     

    To View a Laptop:

    • Press switch on front wall to lower projection screen.
    • Turn on the NEC LT-151 projector with remote.
    • Plug laptop into "Computer1\Computer2" Extron 464xi interface located under table on both sides of room with VGA cable provided.
    • Select "Comp1\Comp2" on Exton SW2 switcher.
    • Select "RGB1" on the NEC LT-151 projector remote.
    • Adjust horizontal position knob on Extron 464xi to center image on screen.
    • Adjust "Comp1\Comp2" channels on Bi-amp CMA30 to change audio levels.

     

     

    To View an Auxiliary Device:

    • Plug AV device into Exton interface "AUX IN" located under table on "Computer 2" plate with AV cables provided.
    • Turn on the NEC LT-151 projector with remote.
    • Select "VIDEO1" on the NEC LT-151 projector remote.
    • Adjust "AUX" channels on Bi-amp CMA30 to change audio levels.

     

     

    To Shut Down the System:

    • Turn off the NEC LT-151 projector with remote.
    • Press switch on front wall to raise projection screen.
    • Leave all other components and power strips turned on. This causes less strain to the electronics than powering up/down for every use.
