Our Physicians:
Robyn Gymrek, M.D.
Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology
Dr. Gmyrek received her bachelor of arts degree from New York University where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude. She went on to complete her medical school education at Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons. After graduation, she finished an internal medicine internship at Cornell University New York Hospital. Dr Gmyrek then returned to Columbia’s College of Physicians and Surgeons where she completed her dermatology residency training and was Chief Resident in Dermatology. She joined the full time faculty of the Department of Dermatology in 2000. She is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor in Dermatology.
Dr. Gmyrek specializes in cosmetic and general dermatology. She has lectured nationally on techniques including laser surgery, Botox® injections sclerotherapy for leg vein removal and filler injections for correction of wrinkles. Dr. Gmyrek combines her dermatologic medical knowledge and compassionate nature to provide comprehensive treatments to patients.
She is also committed to her academic pursuits which focus on the both the quality and approach to medical student and resident education. She is the Director of the Fourth Year Medical Student Electives in Dermatology. In addition, she is the Director of the Resident Cosmetic Clinic at Columbia University, where she instructs the resident physicians in cosmetic procedures.
Dr. Gmyrek is a Diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology and is licensed to practice medicine in New York State. She is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, Women’s Dermatologic Society and the New York Dermatologic Society.
Julide Tok Celebi, M.D.
Assistant Professor of Dermatology
Dr. Celebi completed her dermatology residency training at Columbia University and joined the faculty in 1998. In addition, she completed two postdoctoral fellowships in human genetics and cancer genetics. She is a physician scientist involved in both patient care and research activities of the Department.
Dr. Celebi is a part of the Cosmetic Dermatology team in the Department and specializes in minimally invasive facial rejuvenation and laser treatments.
