Please be advised that, due to a chiller plant malfunction in New York Presbyterian Hospital, many offices within the P&S and VC buildings are experiencing higher than normal temperatures.

Hammer Building Laboratory Vacuum System Shutdown- Tuesday, April 28th, 2009
As part of the current renovation on the twelve floor of the Hammer Building for the Department of Microbiology, it is necessary to tie-in new work to the existing laboratory vacuum system.
In order to do this work, there will be an interruption in laboratory vacuum to the entire Hammer Building on Tuesday, April 28, 2009 from 5:00 AM until 8:00 AM.
During this time period there will be no laboratory vacuum available to any bench or equipment.
*** please do not pour any liquids down your sinks during this time PERIOD ***

Irving Cancer Research Center Electrical Shutdown
Please be advised that due to the construction of the New Data Center in the lower levels of the Irving Cancer Research Center, there will be an overnight disruption of electrical service beginning at 10:00 PM on Wednesday, April 29, 2008. Commercial electric power is scheduled to be restored by 6:00 am on Thursday morning, April 30th.
Please note that EMERGENCY POWER will NOT be affected.
