Dr. Ten's research is primarily devoted to animal modeling
of neonatal diseases: Hypoxic-Ischemic Encephalopathy, Systemic
Inflammatory Response Syndrome, Broncho-pulmponary dysplasia.
Currently Dr. Ten investigates cellular and molecular mechanisms
of brain injury in neonatal mice with hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy.
The major focus of his research interest is understanding
of gestational age-dependent differences in biological response
to stress/injury in an animal model setting.
