ROLE OF THE STEERING COMMITTEE


The CIRAR-affiliated Principal Investigators, along with the core staff, compose the Steering Committee for the Center.  The Steering Committee meets regularly to:

* Discuss and contribute to the progress of each grant
* Facilitate communication among and between research teams and resolve issues, challenges, and difficulties
* Assess and enhance the interface among grants to potentiate their value
* Identify gaps in knowledge in the field and develop additional interdisciplinary grants for the prevention of antimicrobial resistance
* Plan educational and communication strategies for dissemination and sharing of knowledge
* Evaluate the interdisciplinarity and functioning of the Center
