15. New Policy for Progress Reports

The NIH has recently made a change in the due date policy for annual Progress Reports for funded grants. “eSNAP” Progress Reports, which are submitted entirely online, are now due 45 days prior to the start of the next grant budget year, while reports requiring traditional "paper" progress reports are still due 60 days prior to the start of the next grant budget year.  For example, an eSNAP progress report for a grant which has a start date of 8/1/06 will have a due date of 6/16/06 for the progress report.  A paper submission progress report which has a start date of 8/1/06 will have a due date of 6/1/06 .
