All Columbia University degree candidates are invited and encouraged to participate in the University Commencement on May 21, 2008. Each degree candidate can receive four tickets for the Morningside Commencement, which can be given to friends and family (a degree candidate needs no ticket if he or she is wearing academic regalia).

MORNINGSIDE TICKETS
Four tickets for the graduation ceremony on the Morningside campus are allotted to each degree candidate. Tickets are required for everyone except degree candidates and officers of the University in academic dress. Alumni and expected graduates are required to complete the "School of Nursing and University Commencement Tickets” form and return it to the Office of Student Affairs no
later than April 11, in order to receive tickets. Contact the Office of Student Affairs for the form.
SCHOOL OF NURSING INVITATIONS
There is no limit on the amount of guests you may bring. Graduates must RSVP by completing the "School of Nursing and University Commencement Tickets” form so that we can accommodate everyone for both the ceremony and the reception. Return the form to the Office of Student Affairs no
later than April 11, in order to receive invitations. Contact the Office of Student Affairs for the form.
Tickets and Invitations will be available for pick-up in the Office of Student Affairs on April 21, 22, and 23 from 9am to 5pm.
For May graduates, diplomas will be available at the reception after the ceremony.
For February and May graduates, SON pins will be available at the reception after the ceremony.
To assist you with your graduation needs, there will be Grad Fairs held on both the Morningside and Medical campuses. We encourage graduates and expected graduates to attend one of these events. Please note that Master souvenir gowns are available for immediate pick up only at the Morningside bookstore (not the Medical campus bookstore). Discounts that will be available at both Grad Fairs are:
Columbia University Bookstore Grad Fair: March 25-27
Location: Morningside Campus, 2922 Broadway at 115th Street, Lerner Hall
Hours: 10am – 7pm
Masters degree candidates may purchase regalia at this fair. Doctoral candidates will be measured and may place orders for regalia.
CUMC Audubon Bookstore (Barnes & Noble) Grad

Location: 3954 Broadway at 165th Street
Hours: 10am – 4pm
Doctoral candidates will be measured and may place orders for regalia.
Masters Degree Candidates – Masters gowns are yours to keep. There are two ways to receive your regalia:

Doctoral Degree Candidates – Doctoral gowns and hoods can be rented or purchased. SON graduates should purchase the Velvet Tam. There are two ways to receive your regalia:
