Colombia

In the Americas, Colombia is the country with the greatest number of internally displaced people and the greatest number of fire-arm injuries preventing stability among large sectors of the country. At the same time, it is a country with a strong system of nursing education, and a strong and stable economy.

We have engaged with a variety of civil-society groups to identify sources of insecurity, and analyze sources of data, to help build a comprehensive picture of humanitarian conditions and opportunities to increase stability and security.
