Welcome to the Division of Gynecologic Surgical Services at Columbia University Medical Center. We offer a wide range of consultation and treatment options for all of your gynecologic needs. From routine gynecologic examinations to the most advanced diagnosis and treatment of gynecologic problems, we provide a comprehensive range of quality services for women of all ages.

Our faculty is composed of recognized experts in the fields of gynecologic surgery including Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery, Minimally Invasive Surgery, Robotic surgery, Pediatric Gynecology, and Lesbian & Transgender Health . The group is comprised of an excellent team of gynecologists and surgeons with diverse backgrounds, training, and skills who work together to provide world class care for women in all stages of life.

Minimally Invasive Approach
Our surgeons employ the latest technology to treat various female reproductive tract disorders. In addition to the most minimally invasive vaginal approach to surgery, advanced laparoscopic and robotic techniques have been used to provide our patient with the shortest possible recovery times. Our minimally invasive surgery program allows us to treat diverse conditions through small cosmetic incisions without compromising cure or outcome. Because of this approach, patients tend to have less postoperative pain and faster recovery. The division has a Fibroid Referral Center that directs patients to practitioners with experience treating fibroids medically and/or surgically and works closely with the interventional radiology group to offer uterine artery embolization procedures.

Adult and Pediatric Services
Our division offers services for adults at New York-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center and Columbia University Medical Center Eastside. We also offer pediatric gynecologic services at both of these locations.

As part of a world-renowned university, we have incredible resources to provide 360 degrees of care to women of all ages. I am pleased to introduce you to our services and invite you to contact us for more information.
