Overview

The Center for Women's Mental Health at The New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center provides state of the art evaluation and treatment of psychiatric disorders and psychological difficulties associated with female reproductive function including infertility, pregnancy-associated mood and anxiety disturbances, coping with a high-risk pregnancy, pregnancy loss, and motherhood, postpartum mood and anxiety disorders, premenstrual mood problems, peri/post menopausal depression, and gynecologic cancers. Other areas of women's health focus include body image, eating disorders and premenstrual quality of life issues. Clinical care is complemented by research in some of these areas.
