As the cost of higher education continues to increase, a growing number of students and their families experience difficulty in carrying the full financial burden. We are keenly aware of this situation and are committed to assisting students to secure funds to help pay education-related expenses.

No one should hesitate to apply for admission because the cost appears to be beyond his or her means. We are confident that with the information you will be receiving regarding financial aid, you will be able to arrange the necessary financing to make an Occupational Therapy education at Columbia University affordable. The decision to admit a student is independent of any request for financial assistance; applying for financial assistance has no bearing on the admissions decision.

Application Procedure

Detailed information regarding financial aid is contained in the Program Bulletin. Upon acceptance by the Programs, students receive a financial aid packet which contains all the applications and forms necessary to apply for scholarships and student loans. Also included in this packet is a detailed Student Financial Aid Handbook outlining the steps necessary to apply for financial aid.
