| Dr. Aranoff currently is part of our voluntary faculty. She established the Pediatric Endocrine Testing Service (PETS) 1992 and was its director until 2003. The testing center enables children to have diagnostic endocrine stimulation testing in an outpatient setting, in a safe, efficient, and child-friendly environment. The testing center has served as a model for other pediatric endocrine units in tertiary care centers, and Dr. Aranoff has served as a consultant to help other centers set up endocrine testing units for children. She has also developed a number of emergency procedures in our emergency manual for Pediatric Endocrinology. Her publications include a recent chapter on growth and pediatric adolescent endocrinology. She serves as a clinical attending for our residents. She is Board certified in Pediatric Endocrinology. |
