The division provides outpatient endocrine and diabetes consultation and care for patients in the greater metropolitan area and worldwide. We have over 6,000 patient visits per year including Endocrine, Diabetes, POWER (Program for Overweight Education and Reduction) clinics and attending office hours. We have continued to see close to 200 inpatient consults per year. We have been named a New York State Endocrine Specialty Center and have begun to consult on the newly instituted state-wide screening program for congenital adrenal hyperplasia, as well as the congenital hypothyroid screening program. We perform over 200 endocrine procedures per year in our testing services, as well.
