Description: Both of the following programs offer students clinical experience augment their classroom University instruction, reinforce clinical skills, and create interest in their future choice of bothmedical specialty and geographic area of practice: The Summer Clerkships (2­8 weeks) are designed for students who have completed either one or two years of training. Preference is given to second year students. Stipend is $250/2 weeks. The Clinical Electives are credit courses offered on a year­round basis in 22 specialties for third­ and fourth­year medical students. Deadline: March 15.
