Description: One year fellowship for intensive fundamental research at any academic or research institution in the U.S. Intended to encourage medical students to pursue a research career. One of the major advantages of the Med Fellows Program is that students can choose where they want to do researach. . Stipend: $23,000 In addition, the fellowship institution will receive an annual allowance of $11,000 on the students' behalf for research-related, travel to scientific meetings, a computer and computer-related expenses, the students health insurance and tuition and fees.
