Description:An annual competition for innovative proposals for health promotion and disease prevention prevention. The proposal must be concerned with disease prevention or health promotion. It could describe a community risk­reduction effort; a project for a whole community or a special population group, such as the aged or children; a health promotion program at the worksite; a preventive approach for community education, such as primary and secondary school programs. Awards range from $250 to $3000. Deadlines: February 15 to school; February 15 to appropriate professional assoc.; March 15 to Federation of Assoc. of Schools of Health Professions April 15 to HHS.
