Sponsoring Agency: American Pediatric Society and Society For Pediatric Research

The American Pediatric Society and the Society for Pediatric Research are offering a grant to medical students who wish to participate in research in a pediatric laboratory at a medical school other than their own. This grant will provide a maximum stipend of $4,270 ($57.70 per day) and will enable each student to spend eight to ten weeks working 30-40 hors per week in a research environment. In 2004, 137 applications were received and 36 scholarships were awarded.
