RESIDENT SELECTION

All residents in radiology at CPMC are selected via the NIRMP. The next available openings are for the six residency slots of the class that will begin on July 1, 2007. Our deadline for applications will be December 1, 2005. Applications will be reviewed in the order received. We advise applying at latest by the end of October. The department receives a large number of applications and is unfortunately unable to interview all applicants. Interviews will be conducted on Tuesdays and Thursdays during November, December and January following receipt of the applications. Candidates granted an interview will be notified by phone and every effort will be made to accommodate the applicant's schedule. Applicants not granted an interview will be notified by mail, usually before the end of December. Travel costs are at the applicant's expense. On your interview day, you will meet a number of our faculty members and residents and will be given a tour of the department and various portions of the hospital. You will also attend a noon conference. Lunch will be provided. If you park in the hospital garage, the department will pay the parking fee.
