Our Radiation Oncology department works in conjunction with the Pediatric Oncology department of The Herbert Irving Cancer Center/ Children's Hospital of New York. We treat all types of pediatric cancers including tumors of the brain and spine, kidney/Wilms tumors, neuroblastoma, lymphoma (Hodgkin's and non-Hodgkin's), leukemia, rhabdomyosarcoma, Ewing's sarcoma, and osteosarcoma, as well as other more rare pediatric tumors. We also treat benign conditions such as heart transplant rejection.
We work closely with the Child Life Program and the Department of Anesthesiology to ensure patients and their families as comfortable as possible while under our care.
