Information Resources for Research on Aging

The following categorized and annotated listing of aging research resources on the WWW includes academic centers, government sites, electronic journals, and other information resources.  Sites have been selected either for their uniqueness as an objective information resource or because they provide links to many more resources. Promotional and commercial sites have been excluded unless they provide significant neutral information resources.

There are general conventional medicine sites as well as complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) sites. The information resources for aging research cannot easily be categorized as conventional or CAM; they tend to be a mixture of both.   Many web sites place the emphasis on wellness. All can be important resources when researching any particular health problem associated with aging.  See also the related information resources for Women's Health research.
