Download PDF Revision Files

In light of the multiple periodic updates to the SCID that we have made over the past several years, we are making Portable Document Format (PDF) files of the updated SCID pages available free of charge. We recommend that you print out all of the pages in these PDF files and replace the corresponding pages of your SCID. Please note that this will only work with versions of the SCID since (and including) the November 2002 version. If you have a version earlier than November 2002 and you want the most recent updated version of the SCID, you will have to re-order a complete SCID.

There is a PDF file corresponding to each SCID module. Given that as of the January 2007 revisions we have swapped which version of the E module is the "alternate" (see the January 2007 revision comments for an explanation), we are identifying the two versions of the E module as follows: E-module-streamlined is the version in which, when diagnosing non-alcohol substance dependence or abuse, the interviewer determined which drug class has been used most and then only asks about that class. (This is the version that we called the “alternate version” in versions of the SCID earlier than January 2007 and is the version used in the SCID-CV). E-module-comprehensive is the version in which the interviewer determines the history of dependence or abuse for each separate drug class. (This is the version that is now the "alternate version" of E).
