AVAILABLE TRANSLATIONS OF THE SCID FOR DSM-IV

The SCID-I has been translated in its entirety into Chinese (Mandarin), Danish, Dutch, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Italian, Portuguese, Romanian, Spanish, Swedish, and Turkish. Please note that inclusion of contact information on this list does not mean that we are vouching for the quality of the translation. In an ideal world, these translations would be produced by first translating the SCID into the target language, backtranslating to English, and comparing the backtranslated version with the original. We do not know which of the translations were done using this method. Also be forewarned that the translations may have been based on earlier drafts of the SCID--you may want to compare the translated version with the most recent draft of the SCID.
