- Walk-in appointments between the hours of 11:30am and 1:30pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays for quick answers to job search/career management questions and scheduled appointments at your convenience to discuss career issues in greater depth.
- Job search workshops and employer presentations co-sponsored with divisions.
- Career Resource Room featuring computers, printer, fax, copier and open shelving.
- Career Services announcements e-mailed to you by listserv on Fridays as necessary.
- On-line job postings.
- Sample resumes and cover letters for modelling. Resume and cover letter critiques and resume books.
- Referrals to alumni (e.g., Alumni Mentoring Program) for networking and informational interviewing.
- Career reference files on employers in varied industries (e.g., government, consulting, health/public health, insurance/managed care, not-for-profit, international, etc) for employer research. Additional resources on career management topics (resumes, interviewing, networking, out-of-town searches) and industries (not for profits, healthcare companies, consulting) as well as periodicals (Epimonitor, The Economist, New York Times Week in Review, Monday Developments, International Career Employment Weekly among others) are available for review in the Office of Career Services.
