Ginger Chew, Sc.D.,
Assistant Professor of Clinical Public Health
in the Department of Environmental Health Sciences.

Dr. Chew's main research interest is bioaerosol exposure assessment. She is currently working with Drs. Pat Kinney and Frederica Perera (both in the Division of EHS) on two childhood asthma studies in New York City. Dr. Chew's laboratory uses immunoassay techniques to analyze cockroach, cat, dust mite, and fungal antigens in environmental samples. She serves on the Center for Urban Epidemiologic Studies (CUES) Asthma working group (New York, NY), and is a reviewer for The Journal of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, The American Journal of Public Health, The American Industrial Hygiene Association Journal, and The Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology.
