Financial Aid Opportunities
All students interested in applying for financial aid are urged not to wait until an offer from the Admission’s office has been made.
Most students finance their education through a combination of student loans (federal and private), grants, and their own resources.
How To Apply For Financial Aid
In order to determine eligibility for federal aid, and for the institutional aid administered by the Financial Aid Office (FAO) complete and submit the following documents:
- Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) http://www.fafsa.ed.gov. The school code for the MSPH is E00127. Once the information is processed it is transmitted to the school electronically.
- Financial Aid Application. This is completed
on
https://app.applyyourself.com/?id=col-sph . Once logged in, please click on Scholarship Application.
(a) New students complete Section 1&2 and click SAVE.
(b) Continuing students complete Section 2 ONLY and click SAVE.
1. Students who completed a paper application for Admissions can still go online to https://app.applyyourself.com/?id=col-sph and request a PIN and Password to access the Financial Aid Online Application.
2. Some scholarships require an additional application, please refer to Scholarships, Fellowships and Traineeships for scholarship applications and information. The MSPH, need-based scholarships are available to full-time master's degree students. Scholarship funds for MSPH doctoral students are merit-based, and if available is accessed through the academic department through which the student was admitted.* FEDERAL LOANS ARE AVAILABLE TO ALL MASTERS AND DrPH STUDENTS*. PhD students access federal loans through GSAS.
If all of this information has been received at the time of admission, students receive a financial aid award letter with their offer of admission, or shortly there after.
