JAMWA, Journal of the American Medical Women's Association, is a peer-reviewed, quarterly medical journal that focuses on women's health. It was established in 1946 as the official publication of AMWA, the American Medical Women's Association. It is read by the more than 11,000 members of the American Medical Women's Association as well as many non-member subscribers and is included in Index Medicus. Theme issues have included Women and Cardiovascular Disease, Abortion and Medicine, Women and HIV/AIDS, Genetics and Women's Health, Managed Care and Women's Health, The Health of the Oldest Women, and many more.
