Lauterstein Gives Over $3 Million

A committed and generous alumnus, Ronald Lauterstein, M.P.H. ’58 , co-founder of COMCARE, a home health agency based in Canada which has recently been sold, has selected CSPH as the irrevocable beneficiary of multiple insurance policies and charitable remainder trust valued at more than $3 million.

“Health care is an area of pressing concern and I hope my support will help the School continue to set the pace in this growing field. as I have frequently expressed, I attribute my business success to the education I received here in the health administration program,” said Lauterstein.

Dean Allan Rosenfield, M.D., said, “We are deeply grateful for all Ron has done and will be doing to ensure the future of the School of Public Health. His support and guidance, through his service on the advisory council, allows us to continue our mission of public health research, education and service.”

Diana Landreth, associate dean for external affairs, concurred, “Ron is so much more than an alumnus and donor; he is a partner in all that we do as well as a cherished friend.”
