Munroe Honored

Anthony MunroeAnthony Munroe, a student in the Executive MPH program, is one of ten winners of a Congressional Black Caucus Foundation Fellowship. The year long fellowship is sponsored by a grant from The Kellogg Foundation. Its objective is to identify the future leaders of public health who are pursuing either a masters or doctoral degree in public health.

Munroe is the Division Director of Community Health (equivalent to a deputy commissioner) for The Dekalb County (GA) Board of Health. Before that, he was the executive director of administration and program services for family health services, New York City Department of Health. At CSPH, Munroe is a student in the executive MPH program (see story, page 28) and the social vice president of the School of Public Health Student Government association.
