SMS Student Wins Sexuality Fellowship

The Social Science Research Council (SSRC) has awarded a predoctoral fellowship to Rebecca Young, a Ph.D. candidate in the Division of Sociomedical Sciences. According to her advisor, Carole Vance, Ph.D., M.P.H., Young’s research will trace the definition and measurement of masculine and feminine sexuality in biological research conducted from 1959 to 1995.

The award, one of 13 given nationally, is funded by the ford Foundation as part of SSRC’s Sexuality Research Fellowship Program.
