| ON THE COVER: Jay Lefkowitch76 has come full circle. His career as a pathologist and one of the best teachers at P&S in the 1990s started as a P&S student, when he was tapped by pathology chairman Donald King to illustrate two of Dr. Kings textbooks. He has mixed medicine and art ever since. The cover blends an illustration by Dr. Lefkowitch with photos of legendary teachers of the 1940s. In the cover stories, which begin on Page 15, Morton Creditor47 reflects on teaching in the 1940s and P&S projects which of todays teachers may become the legends of the 1990s. |
